As a woman-owned and led consulting firm serving the nonprofit sector, Evolve Giving Group is committed to addressing the inequities that women face. We recognize that while misogyny and gender bias affect all women, women who also identify as members of other historically marginalized communities face additional barriers stemming from systemic racism, homophobia, ableism, ageism and transphobia.
In keeping with its core value of justice, Evolve is launching its first pro bono program to support a women-led, women-serving organization with an annual budget of $5 million or less whose work promotes the health, safety, and wellbeing of women from marginalized communities. We encourage all organizations whose work primarily supports women who identify as BIPOC, LGBTQ+, disabled, or those from other marginalized groups to apply.
In alignment with Evolve’s commitment to racial justice, we are prioritizing organizations led by a BIPOC leader, with a diverse board and leadership.
One organization will be selected to receive 120 hours of pro bono support. This work may include one of the following services:
This collaborative project will be tailored to each nonprofit’s specific needs. One additional organization will receive 13 hours of pro bono coaching with one of Evolve’s consultants, which will be spread over a three month period. This support is customized based on the organization’s unique needs and experience. Coaching projects might counsel on how an organization can update an annual campaign plan, build cultivation strategies for top donors, revise board orientation materials, or develop a plan to manage time more effectively.
Applications are due to Evolve by May 15, 2023. Five finalists will be selected to move onto the interview phase. These applicants will be notified via email by June 2nd. Interviews will take place in June, and winners will be announced mid-July. Projects will kick off in Fall 2023.
