As a seasoned consultant with 20 years of fundraising experience, Erika specializes in major gifts and relationship-based fundraising, empowering nonprofit professionals and volunteers to become confident, mission-centric ambassadors and successful solicitors. Evolve clients praise her organizational skills, responsiveness, and enthusiasm for their missions. Erika’s deep passion for fundraising is evident in her commitment to lifelong learning, ensuring she stays at the forefront of industry trends and best practices. At Evolve, she connects clients with the services they need to achieve maximum impact. Her project portfolio includes independent schools, institutions of higher learning, and health and human service organizations.

Before joining Evolve, Erika held roles as Director of Development and Major Gift Officer at organizations such as Roosevelt University, Feeding America, The Nature Conservancy, and Chicago Opera Theater. Erika’s wealth of experience in securing major gifts has equipped her with practical, innovative solutions tailored to meet the unique needs of each organization. 

Erika is an active member of Women in Development Professions, is a former board member and alumna of the board of the Development Leadership Consortium, as well as a proud alumna of the AmeriCorps-VISTA program. She earned a Master’s degree in Public Administration with a focus on Nonprofit Management from Roosevelt University and a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and Business Entrepreneurship from Beloit College.
