Kayla brings more than a decade of experience supporting and managing private giving programs at nonprofit organizations. She uses her expertise in project management, campaign planning, donor relations, event planning, and communications to strengthen relationships between organizations and their supporters, raising funds to fulfill their mission and vision. Clients appreciate Kayla’s extensive experience with capital campaigns, which includes working with nonprofits across various sectors and leading campaigns with fundraising goals of up to $10 million. In her prior role in Development at the University of Maryland, Kayla collaborated on a $1.5 billion campus-wide campaign for capital improvements.
Kayla has worked in fundraising offices at the National Network to End Domestic Violence, University of Maryland, Children’s National Medical Center, and House of Ruth Maryland, Inc. In these roles, Kayla coordinated and provided support to individual giving programs, including moves management, major gifts, digital fundraising, event planning, database management, prospect research, and donor communications. She also has experience in supporting corporate and foundation cultivation strategy, stewardship, and relationship management.
