Jennifer joined Evolve Giving Group in early 2021 and is thrilled to support its client organizations through grant research and proposal writing. She has helped her start-up/small client organizations build a successful grant program from scratch and helped larger institutions increase their grant fundraising success. In addition, Jennifer has advised many organizations in board development, strategic planning, operations, and individual donor programs. She has presented to a variety of groups on the basics of nonprofit fundraising geared toward start-ups.
Prior to entering the nonprofit fundraising sector over five years ago, Jennifer practiced law as an employment litigation attorney in the City Colleges of Chicago’s Office of General Counsel. Since leaving that role, Jennifer shifted gears to become a volunteer legal aid attorney and board member for the Pro Bono Network, a Chicago-area nonprofit that provides volunteer attorneys short-term, legal aid representation opportunities. In March of 2021, Jennifer joined the start-up nonprofit organization, Pandemic Parenting, to become its part-time Executive Director.
