Kathy brings over 20 years of nonprofit fundraising and development experience to her role on Evolve’s Fundraising team. Based in Chicago, she has worked with a wide range of organizations to design and implement successful fundraising strategies, lead major campaigns, and mentor development professionals. 

Kathy is driven by a deep commitment to helping nonprofits achieve their goals and maximize their impact. She takes pride in guiding organizations through complex fundraising challenges and is known for her strong listening skills, thoughtful insights, and ability to help clients see opportunities in new ways. Clients often praise her passion, deep knowledge of the field, and dedication to excellence.

Kathy is an active member of AFP Chicago, where she has served as a Board member, Peer Mentor, and currently co-chairs the African American affinity group. Prior to her work with Evolve, Kathy played a key leadership role in the YWCA Evanston/North Shore’s $19.5 million capital campaign, overseeing every aspect from planning to execution. A lifelong learner, Kathy holds an MBA in Marketing from Columbia University and a BS in Management from Georgia Tech. She has also completed certificates in Major Gifts Fundraising and Nonprofit Management from the Kellogg Center for Nonprofit Management at Northwestern University.

Kathy is a dedicated book club member, enjoys walking and strength training, and loves traveling to visit family and friends.
