Overview

Reporting to the Director of Talent Services, the Senior Associate Consultant, Talent Services is a vital contributor to the success of client searches and the operational efficiency of the talent team. This role involves supporting search operations, maintaining effective use of the Applicant Tracking System (ATS), and collaborating on building strong candidate pipelines. Additionally, the Senior Associate Consultant engages directly with clients, delivering high-quality communication and producing key documents such as position summaries and candidate profiles. This position requires a highly organized, detail-oriented professional with a commitment to excellence and equitable hiring practices.

The Evolve team works in a remote environment, and this role may require occasional evening and/or in-person meetings.

Compensation Range

$45-$55/hour

Key Responsibilities

Talent Operations & Team Support

  • Oversee and monitor usage of the ATS (RecruitCRM), ensuring that all talent consultants are using the system effectively and efficiently
  • Ensure proper tracking of all candidates in the ATS (RecruitCRM)
  • Serve as project support to the Director of Talent Services, Senior Consultants, and Consultants on searches by creating projects in LinkedIn Recruiter and RecruitCRM and sourcing and building the candidate pipeline

Client Engagement and Support

  • Oversee and/or support client discovery process
  • Oversee and/or support the production and development of key search documents, including position summaries, client updates, candidate profiles, and social media posts 
  • Manage and/or support client communications throughout a search 
  • Participate in (or lead, as necessary) client check-in calls 
  • Ensure timely communications and regular weekly search updates
  • Collaborate with Talent team members to develop a robust prospective candidate pipeline
  • Proactively network to identify talent by sourcing both candidates and key connectors 
  • Conduct thorough candidate interviews or screenings in a professional manner with emphasis on assessing candidates’ work history (including transitions), core competencies, organizational culture fit and career narrative to date

Candidate Development

  • Build a network and pipeline of prospective candidates across nonprofit sectors, areas of expertise (fundraising/major gifts, communications, finance, operations) and levels of experience through LinkedIn and networking
  • Ensure the proper tracking of all candidates and referrals in the appropriate systems
  • Manage candidate relationships, ensuring consistent communication and timely updates on active search projects to build trust and facilitate a streamlined search process

Business Development & Communications

  • Support Talent communications efforts, including webinars, blogs, and social media in partnership with the Director of Talent Services and the Communications Manager

Qualifications & Skills

  • 5+ years of experience in a nonprofit organization with a basic understanding of fundraising and development; OR 5+ years of experience in search/recruitment with a strong knowledge of the workings of a nonprofit organization, preferably with the Jewish community 
  • The ability to manage and execute multiple projects simultaneously
  • Proficient use of the Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, Dropbox, and applicant tracking systems with the ability to use Recruit CRM, LinkedIn Recruiter and other web-based and social media tools
  • Excellent verbal communication skills, including the ability to conduct recruiting calls and behavioral interviews
  • Strong writing skills, striving for excellence in producing compelling candidate profiles and other search documents 
  • Superb attention to detail with a strong customer service orientation and commitment to continuous improvement
  • An entrepreneurial mindset, with proven ability to self-direct, be proactive and take initiative
  • The personal presence and the professional judgment required to represent Evolve and its clients in the marketplace
  • A demonstrated knowledge of and commitment to equitable hiring practices, or be willing to learn
  • Strong research skills; previous experience with Internet and database research
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
