Kristin Larsen is a seasoned nonprofit leader and fundraising consultant with 30 years of experience helping organizations navigate growth, transition, and change. She brings deep expertise in fundraising strategy, major gifts, capital campaigns, organizational effectiveness, and interim leadership, with particular experience in Chicago’s arts and culture sector.
Prior to joining Evolve, Kristin served as Executive Director of the Arts & Business Council of Chicago and held leadership and consulting roles supporting nonprofits through complex organizational and fundraising challenges. She excels at assessing organizational needs, aligning priorities, and translating big-picture goals into practical, actionable strategies. As a consultant, she has helped organizations develop fundraising campaigns, strengthen board engagement, build donor pipelines, and increase contributed revenue.
Kristin is an active member of Chicago’s arts, philanthropic, and civic communities. She serves on advisory councils for The 78 and the Entertainment Community Fund and is a council member of Americans for the Arts’ Private Sector Network. She also volunteers with Forefront as a peer advisor and mentors through DePaul University’s Alumni Sharing Knowledge program. She is also a member of Chicago Women in Philanthropy and Actors’ Equity Association.
