K. Sujata is a consultant and advisor to social impact organizations and leaders helping accelerate growth and achieve impact at scale.  Prior to starting her consulting business, Sujata served as President and CEO of Chicago Foundation for Women (CFW) from 2011-2019, a grantmaking organization focused on basic rights and equal opportunities for women and girls. She worked closely with the board to advance racial and gender equity both internally and externally and led the foundation through double digit growth.  She is a methodical, purposeful and strategic leader who works quickly to assess the needs of an organization, build trusting relationships with staff and board and develops and implements strategies that will position the organization for its permanent leadership. Sujata has also served at the Eleanor Foundation, as Executive Director of Apna Ghar, Director of Chicago Continuum of Care (now All Chicago) and Director of Planning and Development at Interfaith Housing Development Corporation.

Sujata received her Ph.D. in Materials Science and Engineering at Northwestern University, her MBA from Illinois Institute of Technology, and studied engineering in her native India.
