Dr. Hood offers almost 20 years of experience in human resource and talent development to Evolve clients and their leadership. She provides career coaching services, specializing in resume development, writing, and interview preparation to help clients reach their full potential. As a Certified Professional Diversity Coach, she brings a DEI-focused approach to her work, fostering empathy, trust, and inclusivity.
Dr. Hood has held human resource leadership roles at The Education Trust, Community Change, and Nonprofit HR, working with organizations across the country. With expertise in DEI assessments, performance management, HR effectiveness, culture assessments, talent management, and process improvement, she has successfully led complex initiatives throughout the HR life cycle. By building strong relationships with executive leaders, Dr. Hood has served as a catalyst for organizational growth and leadership development.
She holds a Ph.D. in Organizational Leadership from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology and a Master in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from the University of Maryland. Dr. Hood earned her Bachelor of Science in Mass Communications and Psychology from Virginia Commonwealth University.
