David T. Brown is Chairman of Much Shelist, P.C., a full-service law firm headquartered in Chicago.  He is an accomplished attorney who counsels public companies and businesses on complex matters, including strategic planning, talent development, acquisitions and dispositions, private placements of debt and equity, and tax and entity structures. Prior to his appointment as chairman, David served as chair of the firm’s management committee for 13 years.  He is a graduate of the University of Illinois, Champaign-Urbana, and earned his J.D. at Loyola University Chicago School of Law.

Active in Jewish philanthropy both locally and nationally, David served as National Campaign Chair for the Jewish Federations of North America (JFNA), a member of the organization's Executive Committee and chair of the Jewish Community Relations Council/Jewish Council for Public Affairs Task Force.  David is an active board member of the Jewish United Fund (JUF) and past chairman of its board of directors. David also serves on the board of directors for BBYO, is active in AIPAC and is a regular visitor to Israel. David lives in Chicago with his wife and five children.
