Amy brings more than 15 years of hands-on fundraising and organizational development experience—complemented by an additional 15 years as a practicing attorney—to her work at Evolve. As a consultant, she helps mission-driven organizations strengthen philanthropic strategy, elevate donor engagement, and align vision with action. Known for building authentic relationships and grounding her work in honesty, clarity, and partnership, Amy empowers teams to transform shared values into meaningful and measurable impact.
Before joining Evolve, Amy served in senior leadership roles within the Detroit Jewish community, most notably as Director of Advancement at Hillel Day School. During her tenure, she led fundraising efforts that generated more than $60 million, including $15 million for capital renovations, $15 million in foundational giving for tuition assistance, a $1 million annual campaign, a four-fold expansion of the school’s endowment, and a $3 million campaign completed in just three months to build a new outdoor athletic complex. Her work reflects a deep commitment to listening, learning, and partnering with leaders, boards, funders, and community stakeholders to move bold ideas forward.
Amy holds a Juris Doctor from Wayne State University and a Bachelor of Arts from Indiana University. She is a past board member and volunteer leader across multiple organizations, which includes the Jewish Federation of Detroit, Yad Ezra, and Women’s Philanthropy. Amy is also the recipient of the Sylvia Simon Greenberg Leadership Award and the AJC Leadership Award.
