The Reaumond Foundation was established on October 26, 2018, in memory of Robert Reaumond, who passed away from pancreatic cancer one year earlier. The foundation is committed to advancing cutting-edge research by providing grants to physicians and comprehensive cancer centers focused on combating gastrointestinal cancers which contribute to about one-third of cancer-related deaths.
In addition to funding medical research, the Reaumond Foundation offers direct financial assistance to families recently diagnosed with gastrointestinal cancer, recognizing the overwhelming emotional and financial burden such a diagnosis can bring.
As part of its mission to support families during this critical time, the foundation also launched Homes of Hope, a program that provides safe, comfortable housing to patients and their loved ones who must travel for treatment. Homes of Hope aims to ease the logistical and financial challenges associated with accessing care, allowing families to focus on healing.
The Reaumond Foundation is seeking a dynamic, mission-driven Executive Director to lead the organization into its next phase of growth and impact. This individual will be responsible for managing and expanding a $500,000+ annual fundraising campaign with the goal of exceeding $1.5 million annually, while advancing the Foundation’s mission to support gastrointestinal cancer research and assist families affected by the disease.
As the principal professional leader of the organization, the Executive Director will report directly to the President of the Board of Directors. This role requires a strategic thinker and relationship-builder who can cultivate major donor relationships, establish a strong corporate giving program, grow the Foundation’s endowment, provide executive oversight of all programs and initiatives, and work closely with the board and committees to implement the organization’s strategic vision.
The Reaumond Foundation is an equal-opportunity employer. We strive to recruit and employ the most qualified personnel and provide equal opportunities without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex.
