The Jewish Federation of Palm Beach County (JFPBC) is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization dedicated to transforming, inspiring, and saving lives in the Palm Beaches and 70 countries around the world.. Each year, Jewish Federation inspires thousands of community members to contribute, volunteer, and participate in programs that generate more than $50 million leading to a powerful impact in the community. The Mandel JCC builds community and enhances connections to Jewish life through its wide array of programs.
JFPBC and the Mandel JCC seek a Director of Development (DOD) to collaborate with JCC and Federation professionals and lay leaders to drive philanthropic growth for the JCC in the greater Palm Beaches. Working closely with the JCC CEO, the ideal candidate will apply relationship-based solicitation strategies to foster connections with new donors, nurture existing relationships as well as advise and partner with the JCC CEO to fulfill fundraising goals. In partnership with colleagues and volunteers, the Director will create personalized solicitation strategies, stewardship plans, and ambassador assignments for top-tier donors. This integral role also works closely with JCC program staff to secure corporate sponsorships designated for key agency initiatives and is supervised by the Federation.
