Overview

New Teacher Center is an award-winning national leader in educator support and works to disrupt the predictability of educational inequities for systemically underserved students in public schools throughout the United States.

Jewish New Teacher Project is a self-funded division of NTC that helps Jewish day schools achieve instructional excellence by increasing teacher and school leader effectiveness, teacher retention and student achievement, and bringing the language of teaching standards, collaboration, and professional development into school culture. By improving teacher and administrator skills through intensive mentoring and coaching along with shared cohort learning and job-embedded instruction, JNTP helps schools deliver higher quality Jewish day school education and become institutions of instructional excellence, allowing students to reach their potential. Such students are committed, engaged, and inspired in all that they do — personally, within the Jewish community, and in the wider world.

JNTP is seeking an innovative and enthusiastic Director of Development who will lead fundraising strategy and annual campaigns that will allow for the growth and sustenance of programs and services. Reporting to the Executive Director, the Director of Development will demonstrate success in creating and implementing strategic fundraising plans, gift solicitation, managing a team, donor cultivation/stewardship, and experience managing an annual campaign of $1.5M or more, to include grants management. A strong understanding of and experience working with Jewish day schools and foundations is critical
