The Staenberg-Loup Jewish Community Center (JCC Denver) is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to serve, strengthen, and inspire the community. For over 100 years, JCC Denver has served the Greater Denver metro area through educational, social, and cultural programs rooted in Jewish values. The JCC creates a vibrant and inclusive social hub with program areas focused on fostering connection, community, and well-being. Programs, include a robust aquatics, fitness, and tennis center, an early learning school, family and early childhood programs, arts and culture, day and overnight camps; and engagement programming for teens, young adults, seniors, and diverse communities.
The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) is a key member of the Executive Leadership Team and a strategic partner to the CEO. This is a builder’s role, responsible for defining processes, implementing systems, and strengthening the financial and operational infrastructure needed to support the organization’s continued growth. The CFO will provide both strategic leadership and hands-on operational oversight, moving fluidly between long-term planning and day-to-day execution.
The CFO holds broad accountability for the $16M organization’s fiscal health, including financial planning, operational efficiency, internal controls, and resource stewardship. In partnership with organizational leadership, the CFO will help shape long-range goals, develop strategies and policies, and drive execution across the enterprise. The role oversees the Controller, Director of IT, and Director of Facilities, and works alongside the CEO and COO to ensure strong integration across finance, operations, technology, and facilities to support long-term sustainability and impact.
