Founded in 1998, the Foundation for Jewish Camp, (FJC) works to grow, support and strengthen the Jewish camp movement. Leveraging over $15M in annual philanthropic giving, FJC scales programs and resources that benefit more than 300 Jewish day and overnight camps (serving 180,000 youth, teens and young adults) across North America each summer
FJC partners with Jewish camps and summer experiences to promote excellence in management, programs and enrollment by providing thought leadership, professional development, funding, research, data and inspiring innovation in the camping field. Led by the values of community mindedness, excellence, joy, agility, social responsibility and imagination, FJC is the central advocate and resource for Jewish camps to thrive. By helping access untapped funds and resources, FJC supports camps in delivering the best possible Jewish experience for families and helps camps survive when times are tough.
