Founded in 1992, The Alfred & Adele Davis Academy educates generations of confident and compassionate leaders, who embrace Jewish values, are empowered by academic excellence and are engaged with the world around them. As a highly academic independent school and the largest Reform Jewish Day School in the country, The Davis Academy serves over 500 students, Kindergarten Prep through eighth grade, across its two state-of-the-art campuses in the Sandy Springs/Dunwoody area of Atlanta, GA.
Based in a vibrant and growth-oriented school with a strong culture of philanthropy, The Director of Institutional Advancement leads the creation and implementation of an overarching fundraising strategy. Key focus areas include major donor cultivation and stewardship, fostering meaningful relationships with the Board of Trustees, and integrating them into the school's development efforts. The Director will also lead the schools’ efforts with the Georgia State Education Tax Credit Program (GOAL), grant writing, endowment and legacy giving and support an upcoming capital campaign. Successful candidates will be goal-oriented and proactive, with strong organizational and people management skills, demonstrated success in donor relations and solicitation, and can manage multiple deadlines. Ideally, candidates will be familiar with the independent school environment and have a passion for both Jewish communal fundraising and Davis Academy’s mission.
The Davis Academy provides equal employment opportunity to all without regard to race, color, religion (except where religion is a Bona Fide Occupational Qualification), national origin, sex, age, disability, veteran status, or any other protected status.
